Does the customer need to install an app?
No. They open a private link, record or choose one continuous narrated walkthrough, upload it once, review and edit the AI-built inventory, then approve and send it to their mover.
What does QuoteCortex build from the walkthrough?
An editable draft organized into AI-detected rooms, with item names, quantities, cube and weight suggestions, packing, specialty handling, disassembly signals, confidence, and timestamps into the original video. Customer-provided access details travel with the same result.
Is the inventory limited to large furniture?
No. The model is designed for visible movable goods across the room—from sofas and televisions to lamps, plants, décor, cartons, artwork, and specialty items. Uncertain or unknown items remain visible instead of being forced into the wrong category.
Does QuoteCortex calculate the official customer estimate?
Not in the default CRM workflow. QuoteCortex prepares inventory intelligence; the connected CRM remains the source of truth for tariffs, rates, and the official customer-facing estimate. QuoteCortex pricing is optional for assist or standalone use.
How does CRM delivery work?
After the customer reviews, approves, and sends the inventory, QuoteCortex publishes a CRM-neutral canonical result. A proven adapter declares exactly what it can read and write, translates at the integration boundary, and records each field’s outcome. When native delivery is not supported, the report, canonical JSON, and inventory CSV remain available.
Can the mover see the original walkthrough?
Yes. After the customer approves and sends the inventory, the retained original walkthrough remains attached to the survey for secure mover playback until an authorized retention or deletion action removes it.
What if our CRM uses different item names?
Saved company mappings connect QuoteCortex canonical items to your CRM catalog. Matching mappings can apply again on later surveys; unmatched items stay in a visible exception queue.
What happens when a CRM cannot accept a field?
Nothing disappears silently. The canonical result retains the field. CRM sync records its per-field disposition and reason, while delivery attempts and audit history keep the outcome visible and retryable.
Is AI confidence the same as accuracy?
No. Confidence describes the model’s certainty on a finding; it is not a published accuracy rate. QuoteCortex keeps confidence and evidence attached so performance can be measured against verified outcomes when that data exists.
